Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 28, 2026

CrashValue ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and confidential vehicle data. This Privacy Policy details our data collection, local processing, and data protection practices.

1. Local-First Architecture & Data Security

ABSOLUTE LOCAL STORAGE: CrashValue operates entirely as a local-first utility. All vehicle specifications, VINs, collision repair estimates, frame alignment rack hours, insurance adjuster correspondence, and generated PDF demand letters are stored strictly on your local device in a sandboxed SQLite database. We operate zero remote servers, cloud tracking clusters, or remote databases for claim records.

2. Data Collection & Use

CrashValue processes only the information you voluntarily provide to perform mathematical calculations and generate demand documents:

3. Zero Data Sale or Brokerage

We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your vehicle information, repair invoices, or personal data to automotive insurance carriers, underwriting bureaus (e.g., LexisNexis, Verisk), vehicle history registries (e.g., Carfax, AutoCheck), advertising networks, or third-party data brokers.

4. In-App Purchases (StoreKit 2)

All in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled directly through Apple's native StoreKit 2 infrastructure. CrashValue never receives, processes, or stores your credit card number, bank information, or Apple ID credentials. All transaction verifications are executed cryptographically on your device via iOS.

5. Third-Party Analytics & Advertising

CrashValue contains zero third-party advertising or analytics SDKs (no Facebook SDK, Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Adjust, or AppsFlyer). Anonymized crash diagnostic reports may be shared by Apple only if you have explicitly enabled diagnostics sharing in your iOS system settings.

6. Data Deletion & Control

You have full autonomy over your records. Deleting a claim inside the app immediately and permanently deletes all related records, repair items, and generated PDF files from your device. Deleting the application from your iOS device permanently purges the local database.
